We are seeking a highly skilled Project Director to lead our team in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

- Grow and maintain strong relationships with team members, trade partners, consultants, and clients to achieve project goals.
- Support project management teams in developing and driving construction schedules.
- Promote innovative methods to enhance effectiveness and efficiency.
- E nsure compliance with quality programs, select and coordinate trade partners, and manage project budgets.
- Act as a mentor and role model, providing coaching and guidance to project teams.
- Minimize project risk and compile project reports for executive teams and client groups.
- Demonstrate leadership in Health, Safety, and Environmental Protection.
The successful candidate will have 8-10+ years of experience on large-scale construction projects.
A university degree/diploma in Engineering or a related field is required, along with strong business acumen and knowledge of project management methodologies, financial management, and Canadian building codes.
Experience in the construction industry, including project methodologies, financial management, and building codes, is essential.
A proven track record of team leadership and coaching, with strong influencing and problem-solving skills, is also necessary.
Additional assets include experience working on government projects and fluency in both official languages.
Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year
