About the Role

Flynn Canada Ltd. is seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Fabricator to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling sheet metal products to meet customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Measure and mark sheet metal according to templates and specifications.
  • Operate metalworking machines to cut, punch, drill, shape, or straighten sheet metal.
  • Inspect products to ensure quality and conformity to specifications.
  • Instruct apprentices and provide guidance on metal fabrication techniques.
  • Assemble, erect, and install hoisting and rigging equipment.
  • Fabricate and install sheet metal products according to specifications and building codes.
  • Participate in quality control processes to ensure products meet customer requirements.
Requirements
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in sheet metal fabrication.
  • Excellent oral communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Dependability, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and work in a physically demanding environment.
Working Conditions
  • Work in a variety of locations, including industrial construction and commercial settings.
  • Exposure to noise, heights, and outdoor environments.
  • May require overtime and flexible scheduling.
