Sheet Metal Worker Job Description

Flynn Canada Ltd. is seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Worker to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for fabricating and installing sheet metal products according to specifications and building codes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Measure and mark sheet metal according to templates
  • Operate metalworking machines to cut, punch, drill, shape, or straighten sheet metal
  • Inspect products to ensure quality and conformity to specifications
  • Instruct apprentices
  • Assemble, erect, and install hoisting and rigging equipment
  • Fit and join sheet metal parts
  • Install sheet metal products according to specifications and building codes
Requirements:
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Dependability, reliability, and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle heavy loads
  • Physical demands include bending, crouching, kneeling, and repetitive tasks
Work Environment:
  • Varied locations, including industrial construction and commercial settings
  • Outdoors and at heights
  • Noisy and dangerous work site environment
Financial Benefits:
