Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

At Bar Burrito, we are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish Work Schedules: Develop and implement efficient work schedules to meet the demands of our busy restaurant.
  • Requisition Food and Supplies: Source and procure high-quality food and kitchen supplies to maintain our culinary standards.
  • Supervise Kitchen Staff: Lead and train our kitchen team to ensure they are equipped to deliver exceptional food and service.
  • Train Staff in Sanitation and Safety: Educate staff on proper sanitation and safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Estimate Ingredients and Supplies: Accurately estimate ingredient and supply needs to minimize waste and optimize inventory.
  • Hire and Train Staff: Recruit and train new staff members to ensure they meet our high standards.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all food and service meet our quality control standards.
  • Prepare Budgets and Reports: Develop and submit accurate budgets and reports to inform business decisions.
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform business decisions.

Requirements:

  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Permanent employment.
  • English language proficiency.
  • 35 to 40 hours of work per week.
