Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at PBX 1 PIZZA & GRILL INC.

Job Summary:

The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards. This includes supervising and coordinating the activities of staff, training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and preparing budget and cost estimates.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure efficient food preparation and service.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, including training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Prepare budget and cost estimates and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Supervise and check assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys.
  • Establish work schedules and ensure that staff are aware of their responsibilities and deadlines.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Permanent employment with 40 hours per week.
  • Fluency in English.
Work Environment:

The Food Service Supervisor will work in a fast-paced restaurant environment, under pressure to meet deadlines and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.

Physical Demands:

The Food Service Supervisor will be required to work in a physically demanding environment, with frequent standing, walking, and lifting of heavy objects.
