Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

BC Ltd is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish efficient methods to meet work schedules and ensure timely food preparation and service.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all food safety and sanitation procedures are followed.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure excellent performance.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and ensure that all necessary materials are available.
  • Monitor and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to optimize inventory management and minimize waste.
  • Establish work schedules and ensure that all staff are aware of their responsibilities and deadlines.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a food service environment, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, customers, and management.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures, and ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Working Conditions:

The Food Service Supervisor will work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking environments, with regular exposure to kitchen equipment and food preparation areas.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Work Schedule:

The Food Service Supervisor will work 35-40 hours per week, with a regular schedule and occasional overtime as needed.
