Job Opportunity

The company is seeking a skilled Procurement Coordinator to join its team. This role will involve building relationships with internal stakeholders and vendors, as well as collaborating with other team members to define and document processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process purchase requisitions for IT hardware, software, and services, including negotiating contracts and interacting with vendors to determine requirements for sourcing.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and vendors to foster relationships and resolve issues related to RMA and invoice discrepancies.
  • Renew contracts for products, hardware, software, services, and maintenance in a timely manner, ensuring opportunities for optimization and savings are not missed.
  • Manage vendors to build relationships, resolve RMAs, ETAs, service issues, transaction discrepancies, and alternate sourcing, and ensure adherence to service level agreements.
Requirements
  • A diploma in Business or Information Technology and 1+ years of experience in procurement, with functional basic account knowledge and direct experience in contract review and renewal, the P2P procurement life cycle, hardware and software licensing, and IT services (IaaS).
  • The ability to thrive in an autonomous environment, balance priorities, pay attention to details, and never lose sight of the big picture, with sound reasoning, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with MS Office, including creating tables, managing and manipulating files, and applying codes for budget planning in Excel, and using Adobe E-sign. Exposure to ServiceNow and Workday Procurement would be an asset but is not required.
  • Strong verbal and written skills, with the ability to engage vendors and internal and external customers to gain insights and foster trust and influence, and patiently navigate challenging conversations with a solution-oriented approach.
