Market Strategy and Operations Lead

The Market Management Lead role at Scotiabank involves leading the overall success of the Estate Administration Team by executing individual goals, plans, and initiatives in support of business strategies and objectives. This position ensures all activities are compliant with governing regulations, internal policies, and procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a client-focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader bank relationships, systems, and knowledge.
- Act as leader for Branch/Region, responsible for achieving defined revenue production goals and managing P&L.
- Lead a team of relationship managers responsible for developing new business, maintaining existing books, and client service, as well as administration of accounts in the estates and trust business.
- Identify, manage, and retain high net worth/ultra-high net worth prospects in specific markets, developing client acquisition strategies and maintaining a prospect sales pipeline to generate sustainable and profitable growth.
- Develop and cultivate the growth of new and existing client and partner relationships, Centres of Influence, as well as business development through Retail Wealth Management Consultants and Scotia Wealth Management and commercial banking partners.
- Coach, mentor, and manage the performance of trust and estate professionals to facilitate the delivery of profitable high-quality wealth management services meeting client needs.
- Responsible for assigned branches' revenue/plan goals and is the branch lead on Key Performance Indicators.
- Implement a high-performance environment and people strategy that attracts, retains, develops, and motivates the team by fostering an inclusive work environment, communication vision/value/business strategy, and managing succession and development planning.
- Understand how the bank's risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions, limiting corporate risk exposure by ensuring account administration compliance with defined policies and procedures.
- Post-Secondary Degree/Diploma (preferred)

The estimated salary range for this role is $110,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience and location. Scotiabank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
