About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Civil Engineering Technologist to join our team at Groundwork Engineering Limited. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our engineers and senior technicians in the design and development of civil engineering projects.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering technology, with experience in design software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D. You will be responsible for producing detailed engineering drawings, cost estimates, and tender packages, as well as assisting with contract administration and site visits.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and produce functional, preliminary, and detailed design drawings for geotechnical, servicing, and site development projects
  • Prepare cost estimates, quantities, and tender packages
  • Assist with contract administration, including preparation of tender documents and site visits
  • Complete construction review, inspection, and surveying
  • Responsible for organized note keeping and file management
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A successful completion of a post-secondary program in Civil Engineering Technician/Technology, eligible for CET designation
  • Proficiency in design software, including AutoCAD Civil 3D
  • Experience working as part of a project team in a consulting environment
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
