We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at Dawson Diner. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards.
Job Summary:- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
- Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas
- Order supplies and equipment
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
- Clean kitchen and work areas
- Organize buffets and banquets
- Manage kitchen operations
- Short order cooking and food preparation
- Cook Trade Certification
- Safe Food Handling certificate
Our kitchen is a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and ability to work under pressure are essential. You will be required to stand for extended periods and handle heavy loads.
