We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at Dawson Diner. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards.
Work Setting:Our restaurant is a fast-paced environment where you will work in a team to provide excellent customer service and maintain a clean and safe kitchen.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
- Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas
- Order supplies and equipment
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
- Clean kitchen and work areas
- Organize buffets and banquets
- Manage kitchen operations
- Short order cooking and food preparation
- Cook Trade Certification
- Safe Food Handling certificate
This is a permanent position with a 30-40 hour work week. You will be required to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
