Seasonal Production Staff

Responsibilities

  • Process Tuxedo Reservations and their accessories with attention to detail.
  • Assist with breaking down, scanning barcodes to validate correct items picked, and processing/sorting merchandise and accessories.
  • Pick, pack, and stock items efficiently.
  • Scan, measure, and label items for stock, including measuring sleeve length.
  • Audit and inspect items for quality control.
  • Manage inventory of merchandise.
  • Load and unload laundry, operate dry cleaning, washer, and dryer machines, including steam tunnel and shirt finishing equipment.
  • Remove and hang cleaned laundry, inspecting clothing for quality and standards.
  • Press coats, pants, vests, and shirts to perfection.
  • Perform other duties as needed, including housekeeping and grounds keeping of the department and facility.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a warehouse, dry cleaning, or industrial environment with a stable work history is a plus.
  • Demonstrate focus and attention to detail.
  • Show a sense of urgency to meet customer time commitments.
  • Take initiative and work with team members to accomplish defined goals in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work in a fast-paced team environment that is detail-oriented, while maintaining accuracy.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues.
  • Maintain regular, dependable attendance and high-level performance.
  • Be flexible to work in all areas of production and any shift during peak season.
  • Hours of operation and schedules are subject to change and may require early morning, evenings, weekends, holidays, or late-night shifts.
  • Be able to learn new skills and take on additional job responsibilities as needed.

Physical Requirements

  • Continuously stand, walk, sit, reach, and work overhead, climb, balance, stoop, bend, kneel, squat, stretch, crouch, and crawl.
  • Frequently use hands and fingers for grasping, reaching, pulling, and pushing.
  • Frequently use ladders and/or lift equipment.
  • Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds or more.
