Job Summary

Moores is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Seasonal Production Associate to join our team. As a key member of our production staff, you will be responsible for processing Tuxedo Reservations and their accessories with precision and accuracy.

Responsibilities

  • Process and manage Tuxedo Reservations and their accessories with attention to detail and a focus on quality.
  • Assist with breaking down and processing merchandise and accessories, ensuring accurate and efficient handling.
  • Pick, pack, and stock merchandise and accessories, maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail.
  • Scan, measure, and label merchandise and accessories for stock, including measuring sleeve length and ensuring accurate labeling.
  • Audit and inspect merchandise and accessories for quality control, ensuring that all items meet our high standards.
  • Conduct inventory of merchandise and accessories, maintaining accurate records and reporting any discrepancies.
  • Load and unload laundry, operate dry cleaning, washer, and dryer machines, including steam tunnel and shirt finishing equipment.
  • Remove and hang cleaned laundry, inspecting clothing to ensure it meets our standards for finishing, stains, and repairs.
  • Press coats, pants, vests, and shirts to a high standard, ensuring a professional finish.
  • Perform other duties as required, including housekeeping and grounds keeping of the department and facility.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in a warehouse, dry cleaning, or industrial environment with a stable work history is a plus.
  • Focus and attention to detail, with the ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrate a sense of urgency to meet customer time commitments, with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to take initiative and work with team members to accomplish defined goals in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment that is detail-oriented, while maintaining accuracy.
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and management.
  • Maintain regular, dependable attendance and high-level performance, with flexibility to work in all areas of production and any shift during peak season.
  • Ability to learn new skills and take on additional job responsibilities as needed.

Physical Requirements

  • Continuously standing, walking, sitting, reaching, and working overhead, climbing, balancing, stooping, bending, kneeling, squatting, stretching, crouching, and crawling.
  • Frequent use of hands and fingers for grasping, reaching, pulling, and pushing.
  • Frequent use of ladders and/or lift equipment.
  • Frequently lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds or more.
