At Prague Restaurant & Cafe, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our restaurant.

About the Role

We are offering a competitive salary of $45,000 per year, based on industry standards for this position in your location.

This is a permanent full-time opportunity with 35 hours of work per week.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish efficient methods to meet work schedules and supervise the preparation and portioning of food.
  • Coordinate the activities of staff, providing training on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, ensure quality control standards are met, and prepare budget and cost estimates.
  • Hire and manage food service staff, address customer complaints, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Prepare and submit reports, including food order summaries for the chef.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and at least 7 months of experience in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of culinary genres and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Frequent standing, bending, crouching, kneeling, and walking are required.
