Job Title: Motor Vehicle Supervisor

Davidson Contract Services is seeking a highly skilled Motor Vehicle Supervisor to join our team. As a Motor Vehicle Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of our fleet of trucks, ensuring that our vehicles are in top condition and running efficiently.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise a team of mechanics and technicians to ensure that all vehicles are properly maintained and repaired.
  • Coordinate and schedule maintenance and repair activities to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
  • Train and develop the skills of our maintenance team to ensure that they have the knowledge and expertise needed to perform their jobs effectively.
  • Estimate costs and materials for maintenance and repair projects.
  • Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed and that our team is working in a safe and healthy environment.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
Requirements:
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Physical stamina to work in a fast-paced environment.
