- Monitor revenues to determine labor costs and optimize profitability
- Monitor staff performance and provide coaching and feedback to improve productivity
- Plan and organize daily operations to meet customer demands
- Staff Management
- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of food service staff
- Set staff work schedules to ensure adequate coverage and minimize labor costs
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best prices for food and other supplies
- Customer Service
- Ensure that all customers receive excellent service and have a positive experience
- Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner
- Supervision
- Supervise a team of 3-4 staff members
- Experience
- Minimum 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service management role
- Permanent employment with a minimum of 30-35 hours per week
- Fluency in English is required
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Post-secondary education in a related field an asset
