We are seeking a highly skilled Solutions Architect to join our team at Databricks. As a key member of our Field Engineering organization, you will partner with our customers to design scalable data architectures using Databricks technology and services.
Key Responsibilities- Partner with customers to design and implement data architectures that meet their business needs.
- Drive complex technology discussions to express the value of the Databricks platform throughout the sales lifecycle.
- Engage with customers' technical leads, including architects, engineers, and operations teams, to establish yourself as a trusted advisor.
- Work with teams across Databricks and executive leadership to represent customer needs and build valuable customer engagements.
- Develop account strategies for assigned accounts to grow their usage of the platform.
- 5+ years of experience in a customer-facing pre-sales, technical architecture, or consulting role.
- Expertise in at least one of the following technologies: big data engineering, data warehousing & ETL, data science and machine learning, or data applications.
- Experience designing, architecting, and presenting data systems for customers and managing the delivery of production solutions.
- Fluent in SQL and database technology.
- Debug and development experience in at least one of the following languages: Python, Scala, Java, or R.
