About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Solutions Architect to join our team at Databricks Inc. As a Solutions Architect, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing scalable data architectures for our customers using Databricks technology and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with customers to understand their data architecture needs and design scalable solutions using Databricks technology.
- Work closely with our Account Executives to develop account strategies and engage with customers' technical leads to establish yourself as a trusted advisor.
- Represent customer needs and build valuable customer engagements across Databricks and our executive leadership.
- Develop and present reference architectures and demo applications to help customers understand how Databricks can be used to achieve their goals.
- Capture technical wins by consulting on big data architectures, data engineering pipelines, and data science/machine learning projects.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in a customer-facing pre-sales, technical architecture, or consulting role.
- Expertise in at least one of the following technologies: data warehousing & ETL, data science and machine learning, data applications, or database technology.
- Fluent in SQL and database technology.
- Debug and development experience in at least one of the following languages: Python, Scala, Java, or R.
- Fluent in French.
