Job Summary

Modern OT is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team in Eastern Ontario. As an Occupational Therapist with Modern OT, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, including veterans, first responders, and individuals with physical and mental health barriers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide occupational therapy services to clients in a community-based setting
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each client
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify client needs and goals
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote client independence and participation in daily activities

Requirements

  • Registered and in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario
  • Clinical experience in areas such as brain injury/neurological rehabilitation, mental health, musculoskeletal/orthopaedic injury, home safety, ergonomics, and/or return to work
  • Proficiency in computer skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle
  • Bilingualism - French and English are assets
