About the Role:

  • As an Occupational Therapist at pt Health, you will play a vital role in assisting patients with regaining independence and improving their quality of life.
  • You will work collaboratively with patients to develop individualized treatment plans that address their specific needs and goals.
  • Your expertise will encompass various areas such as brain injury rehabilitation, mental health, and musculoskeletal injuries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate patient needs and functional abilities.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and patient goals.
  • Provide therapeutic interventions using evidence-based practices.
  • Educate patients and their families on strategies to manage their conditions and promote recovery.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.

Qualifications:

  • Registered with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario.
  • Experience in areas such as brain injury rehabilitation, mental health, and musculoskeletal injuries.
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in electronic health records.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
