About the Role

CABIN COFFEE is seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to lead our kitchen team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our food service operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operations Management
    • Establish and implement efficient methods to meet work schedules and ensure seamless food preparation and service.
    • Requisition food and kitchen supplies in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Team Leadership
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent food quality and presentation.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Quality Control
    • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation to ensure optimal food quality and minimize waste.
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Prepare and submit reports on food sales, stock levels, and other relevant metrics.
    • Prepare food order summaries for the chef and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Supervision and Support
    • Supervise and check the delivery of food trolleys to ensure timely and efficient service.
    • Establish work schedules and ensure that staff are aware of their responsibilities and deadlines.
About You

We are looking for a highly organized and motivated individual with excellent leadership and communication skills. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of 5-10 people and working in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service or related role
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a high level of attention to detail
    • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
