About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual to work closely with our local Sales/Business Manager to support clients and grow business for the company. As a distinguished Sales Operations Coordinator at Fidus, you will set priorities for yourself and be the glue that keeps the team together.

We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has excellent communication skills, and is fluent in English. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to interact well with customers and other employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with local Business Manager(s) to maintain up-to-date information for accounts and clients while assisting them in managing ongoing and upcoming opportunities;
  • Support CRM (Salesforce) entry and maintenance, ensuring accuracy through defined sales processes and proper reporting;
  • Assist with the preparation of client Proposals/Presentations and Quotations while adhering to Fidus Quality Standards;
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support during Business Manager absence by responding promptly and professionally;
  • Field and qualify incoming leads in the CRM, ensuring correct follow-through actions are taken;
  • Utilize the CRM Database and LinkedIn to identify new leads, introduce Fidus, and schedule meetings for Business Managers;
  • Collect data and create reports as requested in CRM (Salesforce);
  • Collaborate with the Sales Team to ensure timely submissions and maintained follow-up schedules;
  • Track and log lost opportunities and lead lost opportunity investigations;
  • Contribute to new marketing initiatives, such as case studies, conferences, and brochures, by working with the Sales Team and Engineering Team;
  • Review current internal sales processes and recommend improvements or new processes to adapt to changing business requirements;
  • Act as a liaison between various departments (estimation, project management, finance) to ensure timely information sharing regarding Sales Activities.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A post-secondary education in a related field or equivalent professional work experience;
  • A minimum of five years of experience in a Customer Service, Support, or Sales focused role;
  • Experience in the technology sector or a professional services agency;
  • Proficiency using Salesforce;
  • Proficiency using MS Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook;
  • Strong communication skills, fluent in English;
  • Excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail;
  • The ability to interact well with customers and other employees;
  • Experience in aerospace and/or defense industry preferred;
