Observant Security Monitor

We are seeking a detail-oriented Surveillance Operative to join our team at Great Canadian Entertainment. This role involves monitoring interior and exterior areas of our property using CCTV cameras and maintaining accurate records.
Main Responsibilities- Monitor and document suspicious activities, large cash transactions, and unauthorized access.
- Maintain detailed logs and records for evidence purposes.
- Report any issues with surveillance facilities or equipment.
- Collaborate effectively with operational departments.
- Build strong relationships with guests and colleagues.
- Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health and safety regulations, and other statutory requirements.
- High School Diploma required; post-secondary education in criminology or a related field is an asset.
- Minimum 3 years of work experience, preferably in security or surveillance.
- Responsible Liquor Service Certification (Serving it Right) required.
- Strong computer skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to focus on monitors for extended periods.
- Adherence to high standards, methods, and procedures.
- Able to obtain a Gaming License.
- Regular office environment with non-traditional hours possible.
- Some travel may be required.
