Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly qualified individual to fill a full-time Appointment without Term Lecturer position in the Department of Sociology at the University of Saskatchewan. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and administrative duties in the Department's undergraduate program.

Teaching Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will teach a combination of courses in sociology, including introductory sociology, sociological theory, and research methods. They will also be responsible for developing new courses in their area of teaching interest and contributing to the Department's curriculum development and delivery.

Administrative Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will participate in committee work and administrative matters related to the Department's undergraduate program, including curriculum evaluation and renewal. They will also be responsible for participating in the College's inter-disciplinary programs and forging productive links with the corresponding University of Saskatchewan Department of Sociology.

Qualifications:

Applicants must have a completed Doctoral Degree in Sociology and demonstrate excellence or promise of excellence in teaching. The successful candidate will be appointed at the rank of Lecturer based on their qualifications.

Salary:

The salary for this position is in the range of $83,150 to $123,458 for the 2025-2026 academic year.
