We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced individual to fill the position of Senior Academic Faculty at the University of Saskatchewan.
About the Job- This is a permanent full-time appointment with a work term of 35 hours per week.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching one or more university subjects, advising on research matters, and conducting research in their field of specialization.
- In addition, they may serve on faculty committees dealing with institutional policies, departmental matters, and academic issues.
As per collective agreement, the successful candidate can expect a salary commensurate with experience and qualifications. This includes various financial benefits such as pension plan, group insurance benefits, life insurance, and health care plan.
Responsibilities- Teaching: The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching one or more university subjects.
- Research: They will conduct research in their field of specialization and advise on research matters.
- Faculty Committee Service: They may serve on faculty committees dealing with institutional policies, departmental matters, and academic issues.
- Administrative Duties: They will prepare, administer, and grade assigned work.
To be eligible for this position, candidates must hold a doctorate degree and have relevant teaching and research experience. Experience with curriculum development and instructional design would be an asset.
