About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team at Tavern on the Green & Hillside Events. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in preparing and cooking menu items to the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook menu items to specifications, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish.
  • Sanitation and Safety: Maintain high standards of sanitation and safety in the kitchen, adhering to our organization's Safe Food Handling practices and local health protection standards.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with the Head Chef, Sous Chef, and culinary team to maintain a high level of food quality and presentation.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Perform daily cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure a sanitary and safe work environment.
  • Food Service Stations: Set and restock food service stations to ensure efficient service.
  • Workplace Culture: Maintain a respectful workplace, adhering to our organization's Policies and Procedures.
Working Conditions
  • Hours and Shifts: Hours and shifts may vary, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Work is performed in a restaurant kitchen and office environment.
