We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Dishwasher at S+L Kitchen & Bar in Abbotsford. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our dishroom.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate a high-efficiency dish machine at a consistent pace to meet the demands of our busy kitchen.
  • Ensure all dinnerware, glassware, and silverware are sanitized to the highest standards and restocked in designated areas.
  • Remove waste and recyclables into the appropriate bins, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Frequently clean the floor area near the dishwasher and surrounding areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Monitor and maintain dishwasher chemical levels and cleaning supplies to ensure optimal performance.

Working Conditions:

  • Hours and shifts may vary to meet the needs of our restaurant.
  • Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays to ensure seamless service.

Requirements:

  • Food Safe Level 1 certification.
  • Previous experience in a professional kitchen as a Dishwasher or similar role is an asset.
  • Occupational First Aid Level 1 preferred but not required.
  • Ability to multitask and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
