We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Dishwasher at S+L Kitchen & Bar in Abbotsford. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation in our dishroom.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate a high-efficiency dish machine at a consistent pace, ensuring all dinnerware, glassware, and silverware are sanitized to meet the standards set by Fraser Health and restocked in designated areas.
  • Remove waste and recycling into designated bins, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Frequently clean the floor area near the dishwasher and surrounding areas, adhering to our high standards of cleanliness.
  • Monitor and maintain dishwasher chemical levels and cleaning supplies, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.

Working Conditions:

  • Hours and shifts may vary, with a requirement to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements:

  • Food Safe Level 1 certification.
  • Previous experience in a professional kitchen as a Dishwasher or other applicable role is considered an asset.
  • Occupational First Aid Level 1 is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to multitask and work well under pressure.
