This part-time administrative position, approximately 22 hours per week, requires an on-site presence with flexible hours as needed.

The Receptionist/Administrative Assistant part-time position is responsible for:

  • Receiving and directing incoming calls and welcoming visitors and clients to the office
  • Creating client billings and processing vendor invoices in a timely and accurate manner

Requirements include:

  • 1-2 years of experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
  • Professional and courteous customer service/administrative/receptionist experience
  • A working knowledge of CCH iFirm Jobs and Billing and QuickBooks Online

Daily responsibilities include:

  • Opening and closing office duties
  • Processing daily bank deposits and monitoring office petty cash
  • Entering vendor invoices to accounting software and processing weekly cheque runs
  • Ordering office supplies and maintaining and monitoring staff calendars and meeting rooms
