We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team at StockYard Meat Products. As a Meat Cutter, you will be responsible for cutting and preparing meats for sale in our retail and wholesale operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Cutting and preparing meats to customer specifications
- Operating meat cutting equipment safely and efficiently
- Wrapping and packaging prepared meats for sale
- Providing excellent customer service and responding to customer inquiries
- Working effectively in a fast-paced environment and meeting productivity standards
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a meat cutting or related role
- Ability to work in a cold/refrigerated environment and handle heavy loads
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Our butcher shop and wholesale operations are located in a busy retail environment. As a Meat Cutter, you will be working in a fast-paced environment with a high volume of customers and products.
