Building Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled Building Maintenance Technician to join our team at 45006 Yukon Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, including operating industrial vacuum cleaners, making adjustments to heating and cooling systems, and performing minor repairs to appliances.

The ideal candidate will have 3 years of experience in a similar role and be able to work with minimal supervision. They will also be physically demanding and able to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).

The work setting will be in a rural area, with the possibility of relocation. The successful candidate will be required to work 35 to 40 hours per week and have excellent oral and written communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, and other refuse
  • Make adjustments to heating and cooling systems
  • Perform minor repairs to appliances
  • Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies
  • Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas

Requirements:

  • 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Physically demanding and able to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
