Administrative Support Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Support Officer to join our team. This is a permanent position working 30 hours per week.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our office, including tasks such as data entry, report preparation, and staff training. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities- Review and Evaluate Procedures: Ensure that all administrative procedures are up-to-date and compliant with regulatory requirements.
- Delegate Work Effectively: Assign tasks to office support staff and provide guidance and support as needed.
- Establish Priorities: Set clear priorities and ensure that deadlines are met.
- Administer Policies: Implement and maintain policies related to records management and access to information.
- Coordinate Office Services: Plan and oversee the provision of office services, including accommodation, equipment, and supplies.
- Assist with Budget Preparation: Contribute to the preparation of the operating budget and maintain inventory and budgetary controls.
- Data Entry and Reporting: Enter data accurately and prepare reports, manuals, and correspondence as required.
- Staff Training: Provide training and coaching to staff members as needed.
- Payroll Administration: Oversee payroll administration and ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Budget Control: Monitor and control budget expenditures to ensure efficient use of resources.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience in an administrative role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Language: Fluency in English.
- Work Hours: 30 hours per week.
