Job Description

Royal Bank of Canada is seeking a highly skilled Financial Planning Consultant - Software Solutions Expert to join our team. This exciting opportunity offers the chance to leverage your expertise in financial planning software and work with clients across Canada.

About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic individual with a strong background in financial planning, software development, and excellent communication skills. As a Financial Planning Consultant - Software Solutions Expert, you will be responsible for providing technical support and guidance to RBC Financial Planners, Investment Advisors, and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Provide expert advice on financial planning software, including Conquest Planning, myGPS, and Wealth Planning Calculators.
  • Assist in testing and quality assurance of updated or newly created tools.
  • Coach users on best practices and provide ongoing support.
  • Develop and update job aids, user guides, and other resources.
  • Collaborate with Learning Services groups to develop training programs and materials.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • Bilingualism (English and French) required.
  • An undergraduate education in a related field, preferably Finance or Wealth Management.
  • A CFP, IQPF, QAFP, F.PI., CLU, RRC, or PFP designation.
  • Experience in the financial planning/wealth management industry, with a minimum of 3-5 years.
  • Knowledge of Canadian taxation and pension legislation.
