By joining our team as a Customer Success Manager, you'll have the opportunity to advise finance professionals from middle-management to C-suite executives on customizing their Datarails platform and providing expert training on product updates.

The role is 100% remote-based, allowing you to work from anywhere in the United States or Canada. However, we regret that no sponsorship or relocation assistance is available at this time.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Simplify complex client situations by streamlining existing data and models.
  • Create detailed business analyses outlining problems, opportunities, and solutions for our customers through successful advising on budgeting and forecasting, planning and monitoring, financial modeling, standard reporting, and more.
  • Manage, interpret, and validate all customer-generated data while maintaining focus on improving quality of customer care.
  • Provide recommendations for process improvements to optimize current procedures and maximize outcomes.
  • Build long-term strategic relationships with customers, gather requirements, and follow through with necessary financial reporting support.
  • Some travel (10-20%) required.
  • A minimum of 2+ years' experience in customer success, consulting, or similar customer-facing roles, along with a background in finance or accounting.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience with advanced Excel functions (formulas, VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Power Query, and complex models).
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills are essential for engaging in professional conversations, managing expectations, and guiding customers towards positive outcomes.
  • Comfortability with upselling and renewal conversations.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
