About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Market Insights Analyst to join our team at Payments Canada. As a key member of our research team, you will play a critical role in supporting the development of market insights and analysis that inform our strategic priorities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Knowledge Development and Communication: Stay current on ecosystem developments and research outputs, and effectively communicate their implications and significance to a broader audience.
  • Market Insight Facilitation and Collaboration: Communicate market insight output to a broader audience, facilitate dialogue to inform and enhance research agenda, and assist in the development and implementation of knowledge transition strategy from Research/Market Insights to operating business areas.
  • Content Development and Strategic Engagement: Drive and develop content and reports on topics related to payments market intelligence and engagement, provide quantitative and qualitative research input to strategic foresight deliverables, and provide feedback to market research deliverables.
Requirements
  • Undergraduate degree in social sciences, research, business, economics, or a related field of relevant experience.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of progressive experience in quantitative and/or qualitative research, synthesizing and consolidating complex information, and presenting insightful and strategic output to a wider audience.
  • Experience in supporting multiple priorities and projects.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bilingualism (English and French) is considered an asset.
  • Experience in the financial or payments industry is considered an asset.
