Job Title: HR Manager

GATX Corporation is seeking an experienced HR Manager to join our team in Red Deer, Alberta. As a key member of our facility leadership team, you will be responsible for planning and delivering organizational Human Resources initiatives that support our business objectives and strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement HR strategies that align with our company's goals and objectives.
  • Manage employee relations, including labor relations, policy development, performance management, and training.
  • Provide guidance and support to facility personnel on HR-related matters.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and provincial laws and regulations.
  • Administer employee separations, including exit interviews and final pay processing.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Organizational Behavior, or Human Resources.
  • Minimum 5 years of HR generalist experience, preferably in a unionized facility.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and applicant tracking systems.
  • HR certification a plus.
