Job Title: Dry Cleaning Attendant

We are seeking a skilled Dry Cleaning Attendant to join our team at Nimpo Lake Resort Ltd.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining our hotel laundry equipment, including dry cleaning machines, steam pressers, and hand irons. They will also be responsible for folding, ironing, and packaging clean laundry, as well as checking finished articles for quality and accuracy.

Responsibilities
  • Mix and add detergents, dyes, bleaches, starches, and other solutions and chemicals to clean and finish laundry
  • Operate finishing equipment such as steam pressers and hand irons to finish pants, jackets, shirts, skirts, and other dry cleaned and laundered articles
  • Hand fold and bag shirts, sheets, and other articles
  • Check finished dry-cleaned or laundered articles to ensure that establishment standards are met
  • Match invoices or tags with dry-cleaned or laundered articles
  • Record damage or improper cleaning or laundering of articles
  • Use hand-held steam iron to touch up finished garments and other articles
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Will train on the job
  • Physically demanding work environment

Work Environment

Our hotel laundry is a fast-paced and physically demanding environment. The successful candidate will be required to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
