We are seeking a skilled Dry Cleaning Technician to join our team at Nimpo Lake Resort. As a key member of our housekeeping staff, you will be responsible for ensuring that all laundry and dry cleaning tasks are completed to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Mix and add detergents, dyes, bleaches, starches and other solutions and chemicals to clean and dry garments.
  • Hand fold and bag shirts, sheets and other articles to ensure they are properly prepared for storage.
  • Hand iron laundered fine linens or dry-cleaned silk garments to restore their original appearance.
  • Operate finishing equipment such as steam pressers, and use hand irons to finish pants, jackets, shirts, skirts and other dry cleaned and laundered articles.
  • Assemble and bag finished articles to ensure they are ready for distribution.
  • Check finished dry-cleaned or laundered articles to ensure that establishment standards are met.
  • Match invoices or tags with dry-cleaned or laundered articles to ensure accuracy.
  • Record damage or improper cleaning or laundering of articles to maintain quality control.
  • Use hand-held steam iron to touch up finished garments and other articles to ensure they meet our high standards.
