Dry Cleaning Technician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Dry Cleaning Technician to join our team at Nimpo Lake Resort Ltd. in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Mix and add detergents, dyes, bleaches, starches, and other solutions and chemicals to clean and finish garments.
  • Hand fold and bag shirts, sheets, and other articles to ensure high-quality presentation.
  • Operate finishing equipment such as steam pressers and use hand irons to finish pants, jackets, shirts, skirts, and other dry cleaned and laundered articles.
  • Assemble and bag finished articles, ensuring they meet our high standards.
  • Check finished dry-cleaned or laundered articles to ensure they meet our quality standards.
  • Match invoices or tags with dry-cleaned or laundered articles to ensure accuracy.
  • Record damage or improper cleaning or laundering of articles.
  • Use hand-held steam irons to touch up finished garments and other articles.
Work Environment:

This is a physically demanding role that requires standing for extended periods and performing repetitive tasks.

Requirements:
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.

We offer a permanent position with 30 to 40 hours of work per week and a welcoming work environment.
