About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Service Technician to join our team at Tennant Company. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing our cleaning equipment at customer sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on our cleaning equipment, including troubleshooting and resolving complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic system issues.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with customers, scheduling service activities, and ensuring timely completion of tasks.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of service activities, including documentation of repairs, maintenance, and customer interactions.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, customer service, and technical assistance, to ensure seamless service delivery.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical repair, troubleshooting, and maintenance of complex equipment.
  • Skills: Valid driver's license, ability to lift 60 pounds, and proficiency in using hand and power tools, diagnostic devices, and personal computers.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Vocational Training: Completion of vocational training in automotive, diesel, or electrical repair.
  • Industry Experience: Previous experience working with mobile equipment, forklifts, or heavy equipment.
