Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Technician to join our team at EssilorLuxottica Group. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support to customers through direct service, ensuring their satisfaction with our assistance regarding equipment installation, usage, maintenance, updating, troubleshooting, and repair.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, repair, and calibrate equipment at client sites, as well as provide telephone technical support to clients, technicians, and sales representatives.
  • Train clients on equipment usage and rebuild used equipment for resale.
  • Manage spare parts inventory, verify and label exchange parts, and register cases as work order cases.
  • Plan and coordinate workshop and field service calls with sales representatives, update databases, and produce weekly reports.
  • Prepare equipment for demonstrations and visit clients for periodic follow-ups.
Requirements
  • College degree in Electromechanical or related field, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in technical services.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written, and valid driving license in the province of employment.
  • Able to lift up to 35 kg (75 pounds) and work in a fast-paced environment with frequent travel and overnight stays.
