Job Summary:The Restaurant Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards, and supervising a team of staff members.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure efficient service delivery
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, including training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
- Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
- Prepare and submit reports to management
- Establish work schedules and supervise a team of 5-10 staff members, including cooks, food and beverage servers, and kitchen and food service helpers
- 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a supervisory role in the food service industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of attention to detail
- Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing circumstances
- Dependability and ability to work as part of a team
The Restaurant Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods. The role requires physical demands, including bending, crouching, kneeling, and walking.
Language:The primary language of work is English.
Work Schedule:The Restaurant Supervisor will work 35 to 40 hours per week.
