Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Garden Centre Supervisor to join our team at Canadian Tire - Mill Woods. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising a small team, managing exhibit and display design, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervision: Lead a team of 1-2 people and provide guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Exhibit and Display Design: Design and implement visually appealing exhibits and displays to showcase our products.
  • Merchandising and Visual Displays: Create attractive and effective visual displays to drive sales and engage customers.
  • Pricing and Sales: Assist with pricing and sales strategies to maximize revenue and customer satisfaction.
  • Cash Handling and Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service and handle cash transactions with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Screening Questions: Conduct screening questions to ensure candidates meet the necessary qualifications and requirements.
  • Benefits and Compensation: Provide information on benefits and compensation packages to attract and retain top talent.
  • Long-term Benefits: Offer long-term benefits, including group insurance benefits and long-term care insurance.

Requirements:

  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
