Job Summary:

The Finance and Administration Director will be responsible for overseeing the financial and administrative functions of the organization, including budgeting, financial reporting, and human resources management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Co-ordinate administrative services, including finance, human resources, and business services
  • Evaluate the operations of a department providing administrative services and make recommendations for improvement
  • Manage the operations of a department providing a single administrative service, including planning, organizing, directing, controlling, and evaluating daily operations
  • Assist in preparing annual budgets and plan, administer, and control budgets for client projects, contracts, equipment, and supplies
  • Direct and advise staff engaged in providing records management, security, finance, purchasing, human resources, or other administrative services
  • Direct and control corporate governance and regulatory compliance procedures within established guidelines
  • Hire and train or arrange for training of staff
  • Prepare reports and briefs for management committees evaluating administrative services
  • Assist in the planning and execution of financial statement audits
Requirements:
  • 5-10 years of experience in finance and administration, including budgeting, financial reporting, and human resources management
  • Proven track record of success in managing administrative services, including finance, human resources, and business services
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, management, and external stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate operations and make recommendations for improvement
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and a large caseload
  • Valid driver's license and own vehicle
