Job Title: Developmental Service Worker - Community Support

Job Summary: We are seeking a Developmental Service Worker to join our team at Community Living Trent Highlands. As a Developmental Service Worker, you will provide support to individuals with intellectual disabilities in a group home setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to individuals with intellectual disabilities in a group home setting
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as personal care and household chores
  • Develop and implement individualized support plans to promote independence and community participation
  • Collaborate with other professionals, such as psychologists and social workers, to ensure comprehensive support
  • Participate in training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • College diploma in a related field, such as developmental services or social work
  • Experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
