Job Title: Developmental Service Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Developmental Service Worker to join our team at Community Living Trent Highlands. As a Developmental Service Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities in our community-based settings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support to individuals with intellectual disabilities in a group home setting.
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
  • Develop and implement personalized support plans to promote independence and community inclusion.
  • Collaborate with the support team to ensure a safe and supportive environment.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • College diploma or equivalent in a related field (e.g., developmental services, social work, or a related field).
  • Experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities is an asset.
  • Non-violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) Certificate and First Aid Certificate are required.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
