Job Title: Developmental Service Worker

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Developmental Service Worker to join our team at Community Living Trent Highlands. As a key member of our team, you will provide support and services to individuals with intellectual disabilities, promoting their independence and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support and services to clients with intellectual disabilities, including daily living skills, personal care, and community integration.
  • Develop and implement personalized plans to meet the unique needs and goals of each client.
  • Collaborate with clients, families, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support and services.
  • Participate in training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in areas such as crisis intervention, first aid, and non-violent crisis intervention.
Requirements:
  • College diploma or equivalent in a related field (e.g., developmental services, social work, or a related field).
  • Experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities, preferably in a group home setting.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Non-violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) Certificate and First Aid Certificate.
