Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Dietician to play a crucial role in providing nutritional guidance and support to our residents at Health Association Nova Scotia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert nutritional advice and support to residents, ensuring high standards of nutritional intake.
  • Remain up-to-date with new research and developments in the field of long-term care as it relates to diet and dietary requirements.
  • Implement effective dietary measures to maintain or improve the quality of life for residents.
  • Continually assess residents for changes to their physical abilities and future care needs.
  • Develop and implement dietary plans that meet the unique needs of each resident.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Foods and Nutrition or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Registration with the Nova Scotia College of Dietitians and Nutritionists.
  • Excellent ability to manage high-stress situations and execute decisions efficiently.
