About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Farm Laborer to join our team at Barrich Farms (2020) Ltd. as a key member of our agricultural operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plant, Cultivate, and Irrigate Crops: Assist in the planting, cultivation, and irrigation of crops, ensuring optimal growth and yield.
  • Clean Work Area: Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Harvest Crops: Participate in the harvesting of crops, ensuring quality and efficiency.
  • Examine Product for Quality: Inspect crops for quality and readiness for market, identifying areas for improvement.
Work Environment

As a Farm Laborer, you will work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment, with a focus on fruit and vegetable combination farming. You will be outdoors, working in a rural area, with exposure to wet/damp, dusty, and noisy conditions.

Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Willingness to train and learn.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to stand for extended periods, walk, and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Weight Handling: Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
