Job Summary


We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our team at Héroux-Devtek. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality landing gear components using Mazak Mill Turn machines. This role requires attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work safely and efficiently.



Main Responsibilities



  • Machining control, including programming, tool changes, and troubleshooting;
  • Calculating work offsets and indicating;
  • Understanding programmed tool paths;
  • Tightening and clamping pressures;
  • Cutting pressures and boring bar adjustments;
  • Reading and understanding G and M codes;
  • Tape proving new and modified programs;
  • Preventive maintenance and 5-S activities;
  • Pre-startup inspections with health and safety awareness;
  • Running multiple machines simultaneously in a safe and effective manner;


Qualifications



  • A minimum of Grade education required;
  • The ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE);
  • Meet security screening requirements as set out by ITAR/CGRP directives;
  • Ability to take direction from and interact with co-workers in a productive and positive manner;
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills;
  • Basic math skills and attention to detail;
